They consist solely of paper records. Included in this collection are numerous announcements, programs, and flyers advertising the department's recitals, activities, and events. Also included is a program for "The Lowland Sea: A Fold Opera in One Act" written by Alec Wilder, departmental newsletters, and a copy of "Songs of San Diego State College, " a publication of school songs with sheet music that includes "Hail Montezuma" written by noted composer and university faculty member Dr. David Ward-Steinman. The first half of the collection is arranged chronologically, the second half has no filing order.
