The Marta Sánchez Papers (1953-2013) document the professional career of Dr. Sánchez and include materials created during her tenure as a professor at the University of California, San Diego. Materials include lecture notes, syllabi, student work, journal articles, correspondence, press clippings, book pre-publication drafts, and conference papers. The collection is divided into four series: Academic Files, Book Pre-Publication Drafts, Research and Writings, and Conference Papers.
Academic Files (1955-2013), arranged alphabetically, consist largely of annotated journal articles and lecture notes. The lecture notes highlight key passages and topical themes from the texts. The series also includes binders created for specific courses which contain research, lecture notes, class assignments, and handouts.
