Historical Note: The San Diego Junior Chamber of Commerce had its beginnings in the late 1920s.  The official incorporation took place in 1934. The purpose of the organization is to provide a link between the business establishment and the community in which it operates. This is accomplished by a variety of public service projects. Organizing, budgeting and executing those form a practicum for the membership which is recruited from 18-35 year old businessmen.
