Peoples Temple Collection; Box 23, Virtual Item 13 -  Q815 - Part 1, Identified Individuals Speaking

In connection with the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s investigation into the assassination of U.S. Congressman LEO J. RYAN at Port Kaituma, Guyana, South America, on November 18, 1978, a tape recording was obtained. This tape recording was located in Jonestown, Guyana, South America, and was turned over to U.S. Officials in Guyana and subsequently transported to the United States.

On June 26, 1979, Special Agent (name deleted) reviewed the tape number 1B68-C32. This tape was found to contain the following:

This tape is labeled "JIM MC and ROSIE, January 5, 1975." It is a recording of what appears to be a muffled conversation in a moving car, followed by a lengthy tape of what appears to be two persons engaged in sexual activities in a bedroom. Conversation is infrequent and muffled, many times unintelligible. There appears to be no items of evidentiary nature on this tape. Attached to this tape was a 5 x 8 sheet of lined paper entitled "tape on ROSIE and JIM MC, January 5, 1975". A short summary of the tape was set forth on this paper.

There is no summary or transcript of this recording, but a full index is available on the Alternative Considerations of Jonestown website.
